Definition of Interdependence

"Relying on each other for support and maintenance and placing trust and confidence in each other."

The
Interdependence Equation
Interdependence in your organization =
(Skills /talents + or - inspired leadership) x the work environment

The output of individual skill and talent is either magnified or diminished by the level of the skill and talent of the leadership team and either magnified or diminished again by the work environment. To achieve interdependence in an organization you must develop the leadership qualities that nurture interdependence. You must then evaluate the personality or attributes of the organization e.g. policies and procedures, communication tracks and norms. Leaders need to make sure that the “way we do things around here” promotes rather than impedes interdependency

Interdependence is about confidence, creativity, risk taking and the constant re-invention of the individual and the organization.  FPS Consulting works with individuals and leaders to develop skills and to reveal the talents that give people the ability and the willingness to
risk interdependence.

Role clarity and structure are the foundation of interdependence. FPS assists clients to create the structures, systems and policies that support interdependent work environments. We specialize in shaping work environments that celebrate diversity and harvest the talents
and skills of individuals.

The result is an organization that not only responds to but also invites change.
